Day 1: Lucknow to Agra – Arrival and Evening Exploration

Your trip begins with a ride on a train, bus or a personal car to Lucknow to Agra; the ride will not be more than comfortable. Once there, you will be welcomed by a representative of Rajasthan Cab who will guide you through the hotel where you can check in at your hotel and have a rest after travelling. During the evening, go to Mehtab Bagh, a Mughal garden on the Yamuna River. This is a known area as the location where an amazing sunset can be seen of the Taj Mahal which reflects in golden colors. Having spent a few tranquil moments, it is time to visit one of the most crowded markets of Agra Sadar Bazaar. It is full of handcraft products, leather products, marble souvenirs, and street food. Day 2: Taj Mahal and Agra Fort Visit

It is believed by many people to be a draft of Taj Mahal due to its similarity in style of work. Visit Kinari bazaar later in the evening, which is another tourist shopping center where you will get textiles, jewelry, marble work among other souvenirs. Back to the hotel to spend the night in Agra.

Day 3: Fatehpur Sikri and back to Lucknow.

On the final day of your trip, leave the hotel in the morning after breakfast on a short trip to Fatehpur Sikri, the once grand capital of the Mughal Empire, established by Akbar. This city is a handicraft of red sandstones and it is loaded with historical gems. Enter the world-largest gateway at the Buland Darwaza which serves as the entrance to this walled city. Visit the Jama Masjid, holy Tomb of Salim Chishti and other palaces such as Panch Mahal and Diwan-i-Khas. The story of Mughal power and artistry is told in each of the monuments.

Visit Fatehpur Sikri, and visit it in the afternoon after which go back to Agra. Take a moment and have a bite of the local food or purchase last minute souvenirs.
