Himachal Tour Packages from Kolkata — a seamless journey through India's most iconic destinations.

Day 1: Kolkata to Delhi – Transfer to Shimla (Approx. 350 km from Delhi)

Begin with a trip by flight or train from Kolkata to Delhi. Arrive in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, a former British summer resort. On the way, have beautiful sceneries of the Shivalik Hills. Once in Shimla, go to Mall Road, The Ridge and Christ Church. Have a hot cup of tea in a nearby cafe and get welcomed by the cool mountain air.

Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla Local Sightseeing and Kufri Excursion (20 km one way)

In the morning, Kufri, a small hill station located close to Shimla and which has a panoramic view and snow activities during winter, should also be visited after breakfast. The Himalayan Nature Park is worth visiting, as is riding a pony on the picturesque slope. Then go back to Shimla and see Jakhoo Temple and Viceregal Lodge. Shop and have dinner at Mall Road at the end of the day.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali via Kullu (Approx. 250 km / 7 hrs)

In the morning, go to Manali by dint of the twisting road and the mountain brooks. Pay a visit to Kullu Valley to experience adventure sports like river rafting or to visit local handicrafts. Proceed with your journey along the Beas River and arrive in the evening at Manali. Spend a peaceful evening in use of pine forests and snow-topped mountains.

Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing.

Start your day by visiting a singular architectural temple: Hadimba Temple. Then visit the Vashisht Hot Springs, Club House and Tibetan Monastery. Stroll in the Old Manali, full of cafes and stores with handcrafted souvenirs. Take a relaxing stroll at Mall Road at the end of the day.

Day 5: Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel Excursion (30 km one way)

Following a breakfast meal, visit Solang Valley, the home of paragliding, skiing and snow adventures (seasonal). Tour the Atal Tunnel, which is an engineering wonder that allows one to see breathtaking Himalayan ranges. Go back to Manali in the evening, have dinner and relax.

Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala (Approx. 230 km, 7 hrs)

Travel to Dharamshala, a peaceful hill station and the residence of the Dalai Lama. Arrive in McLeod Ganj, Bhagsunag Temple and Namgyal Monastery. Dharamshala is a spiritual experience due to the serene environment, Tibetan prayer flags and mountain scenery.

Day 7: Dharamshala to Dalhousie (Approx. 120 km / 4 hrs)

Post-breakfast drive to Dalhousie, a pleasant colonial hill station with an old-world appearance and natural beauty. Tour St Johns Church, Subhasabaoli and Panchpula waterfall. Take an evening walk around the local market and enjoy panoramic views of the Dhauladhar Range.

Day 8: Dalhousie – Khajjiar Excursion (22 km one way)

Following breakfast, drive to Khajjiar, commonly referred to as the mini Switzerland of India. Spend your day walking around the green meads, taking pictures, or riding horses around the lake. Go back to Dalhousie in the night and take a rest.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Chandigarh (Approx. 290 km/7 hours)

Go to Chandigarh, the first planned city of India. Upon arrival, sightsee the well-known Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and Rose Garden. During the night, visit Sector 17 Market to do shopping and eat local food.

Day 10: Chandigarh to Delhi – Return to Kolkata.
