Day 1: Arrival in Agra

The trip starts with a similar scene where one leaves Chhattisgarh on a night train or on a flight at the end of the night, and this is what previews the trip as an adventurous holiday. As the train passes through the countryside or the plane flies over it, lean back and enjoy a relaxing ride and get ready to see the historical and cultural beauty that is awaiting in Agra.

Day 2: Explore Agra

Early morning arrive at Agra and check in at your hotel and take a cool welcome drink. Once you have refreshed yourself, start exploring by paying a visit to the Taj Mahal which is one of the seven wonders of the world. Gaze upon the shine of the white marble which envelops the monument in the morning sunlight and proceed at your own pace through its trimmed gardens. Following such a trance, go to Agra Fort to have a look at the Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas and the eye-catching Sheesh Mahal. Take a good Mughlai lunch break and resume sightseeing in the city. During the evening, use free time at Sadar Bazaar, where you can buy marble handicraft, leather products and the local sweets. Dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Visit Fatehpur Sikri

Early breakfast and a drive to Fatehpur Sikri the red sandstone city constructed by the Emperor Akbar. Explore the exotic history of this abandoned Mughal capital as you explore Buland Darwaza, the Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and shrine of Salim Chishti. Have lunch at Agra and have a rest at the hotel. Mehtab Bagh, situated on the opposite side of Jamuna, is a place to visit in the evening to see the magic sunset view of the Taj Mahal. Take pictures and savour the quiet atmosphere and then go back to the city. The hotel serves dinner and an overnight stay is provided.

Day 4: Explore Mathura and Vrindavan

After that, go on a full-day field trip to two of the holiest spiritual cities of India, Mathra and Vrindavan after breakfast. At Mathra, the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, Dwarkadheesh Temple can be visited and experience the holy ambiance in Mathura.Subsequently, visit Vrindavan and visit Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON Temple and the well-lit Prem Mandir, which appears stunning at night. Spend the day in a local restaurant having a traditional lunch and then experiencing the devotional atmosphere of these towns and then drive back to Agra in the evening. Dine out and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 5: Explore local Agra & Departure

Have your last day in Agra with breakfast and hotel check-out. Visit the gorgeous Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah popularly referred to as the Baby Taj and wonder at its massive use of marble inlay. Go to Sikandra to see the Akbar Tomb, the unique mixture of the Mughal and Rajput architectures. You have time to either relax or go out shopping souvenirs or just go sightseeing around the city before going to the railway station of the airport in the evening.
