Day 1: Kumarakom to Delhi -Arrival and Transfer to Agra.

This trip is more visible and fast with the help of the six-lane Yamuna Expressway and provides the view of the small cities, fields and villages that appear on the road.

When you arrive at Agra, put in your hotel and have a rest after a hectic trip. In the evening have a small orientation by going round the local markets of Agra. There is the city of marble torture, leather objects, handcrafts and world renowned sweet called Agra Peeta.Exploring these colorful markets will present you with a perfect initial view of the attraction of Agra. Then go back to the hotel in the evening and spend the night in Agra.

Day 2: Agra Sightseeing- Taj Mahal and Mughal heritage.

Begin your day by morning journey to the Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world. The white marble monument that is visible in the golden rays of the sunrise is a view to remember. You will spend some time in this monument of love, and then go back to your hotel to have breakfast.

Then there is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that take you to your scenic destinations when you visit the Grand Agra Fort. The fort is made of red sandstone and is a good representation of Mughal Power and luxury. The inside is filled with the royal palaces, the halls of audience and the courtyards that show the greatness of the empire.

Next, visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Dullah also called baby taj. Noor Jahan constructed this fragile monument in honor of his father and is acclaimed to have been crafted with marble. In the evening, the ruler of the Mughal Garden Mehtab Bagh on the other side of Yamuna River. It gives a great view of the sunset of the Taj Mahal reflected in the river. Spend the day in Agra and back to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 4: Agra to Delhi: Departure - Kumarakom.

Have breakfast and leave your hotel and head back to Delhi. In case of time you can make a little drive around Delhi and visit places such as India Gate or Lotus Temple and then head to the airport or railway station to get back to Kumarakom.
