Day 1: Arrival in Delhi Leisure Evening

You come to Delhi by a direct flight to Jammu. After landing in Indira Gandhi International Airport, a representative of Rajasthan Cab will surely welcome you and send you to your own car. On a comfortable transfer, after arriving drop your luggage at the hotel and take some rest.

The morning is left to your free disposal, that you might rest after the journey. Take an evening stroll in the cool breeze of Connaught Place the heart of Delhi. Take a tour through pedestrian squares, visit some chic shops, and have a cup of coffee in a local cafe. Provided that there is a time to do it, you also should go to India Gate after it gets dark to see how beautiful they light it. Afterwards go back to the hotel and have a tasty dinner and overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Exploring Old Delhi and Mughal Heritage

Prepare to get the feel of the ancient city of Old Delhi following breakfast. You begin your day journeying into the fantastic Red Fort that was the dwelling of Mughal emperors. Jama Masjid is the next destination which is one of the grandest mosques in India and where you may feel the calm atmosphere.

What follows is one of the most exciting moments during the trip: a ride in a rickshaw around Chandni Chowk, the busy market full of spice vendors, gold shops and delicious looking street food markets. You do not want to miss out on some of the local delicacies such as parathas, jalebis or spicy chaat.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to visit the Raj ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi which is encapsulated by greenery. Day 3: New Delhi: Colonial Majesty, and UNESCO World Heritage

Start your day early in the morning and get a good breakfast and go to visit the new face of the capital city in New Delhi. Begin at India Gate and then drive through the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President House) and Parliament House depicting the architecture of British colonial architecture.

Then visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites- the magnificent Humayun tomb, the ancestor and Great predecessor of Taj Mahal and the 73-meter high minaret surmounted by the Qutub Minar with ruins of long back history.

Spend the evening at Lotus Temple, a place known to have lotus-like structure and peaceful aura, and people of any religion are allowed to enter. In the evening, have some leisure time at the Dilli Haat, an open air cultural market place where craftspeople of different parts of India display their handicrafts, jewelry and local food. Go back to the hotel in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Spiritual and Cultural Sights- Journey to Jammu

On your final day in Delhi, have breakfast at the hotel and then say good-bye to sightseeing as you will have a final leg of the visit. See the world-famous Akshardham Temple, the biggest temple complex in the world, which is appreciated by its rich carvings, the exhibitions and musical fountain. Take some quiet time by going to its gardens and spiritual exhibits.

On a later occasion, perhaps when time is available, you can also have a last-minute shopping in either Sarojini Nagar Market or Connaught Place where you can get a good bargain in souvenirs, clothes, and accessories.

Evening: You will be transported to Delhi Airport to catch your flight back to Jammu. There will be a Rajasthan Cab representative to help board and this will fully eliminate hassle free departure.
