Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Old Delhi Food Walk
Welcome to India's vibrant capital. Treat yourself to a culinary journey after entering your hotel by taking a stroll in Chandni Chowk in the evening. Sample iconic foods include chole-bhature, jalebi, kebabs in Jama Masjid and stuffed parathas in Paranthe Wali Gali. End the night with sumptuous kulfi falooda. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Explore Delhi – Street Food, Markets & Modern Flavours
Start off with a typical North Indian breakfast: aloo-puri or bedmi-kachori. Take a break and visit India Gate, Rajpath and Humayun's Tomb and have a cultural break. Lunch in a classic Delhi restaurant with butter chicken or Amritsari kulcha. Reserve the evening and see what Connaught Place cafes have to offer in terms of fusion Indian plates. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra (233 km) – Mughlai Flavours & Taj Mahal
We will have lunch at a hotel en route to Agra. Begin with Mughlai delicacies, namely, tandoori chicken, chicken korma, and spicy biryani. Go to the magnificent Taj Mahal and walk along Agra Fort. A trip to Agra cannot be complete without tasting the delicacies of Agra, which are petha and dalmoth. Enjoy a rooftop dinner with a view of the Taj Mahal to cap off the night. Overnight in Agra.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur (238 km) – Rajasthani Sweets & Royal Meals
Drive to Jaipur through the picturesque road. Arrive with sample traditional sweets such as ghewar and mawa kachori. Having rested in the hotel, have a taste of the authentic Rajasthani thali, which includes dishes like gatte ki sabzi, ker-sangri, and, optionally, laal maas and baajra roti. Have an evening walk in the colourful Johari Bazaar. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur City Tour – Markets, Snacks & Heritage Cuisine
Start with a visit to Amber Fort and City Palace. Subsequently, find the most delicious food spots in Jaipur: pyaaz-kachori, mirchi-vada, and lassi. Shopping in Bapu Bazaar in the afternoon. At night, savour a cultural dinner at a heritage restaurant featuring a folk performance and the classic dal-bati-churma. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur to Kota (243 km) – Kachori Capital of Rajasthan
Driving to Kota is another food and beverage tourist attraction. Savour the famous kota kachori, dahi ke samosa, and hot poha of the city. Visit Chambal Garden, Seven Wonders Park, and local sweet shops where there is ghee-soaked mithai. Conclude with an evening meal on the banks of the river Chambal. Overnight stay in Kota.
Day 7: Kota to Chittorgarh (171 km) – Rajput-Style Cuisine & Fort Visit
There is a scenic drive, a short way leading to Chittorgarh. Go to Chittorgarh Fort, Vijay Stambh, and Gaumukh Reservoir, which are UNESCO-listed. Have lunch in the style of the Rajput, such as safed maas, bati, churma, and malpua. Sample the Rajasthani dishes of bhajiya and pakwan in an evening in a local bazaar over a cup of tea. Overnight in Chittorgarh.
Day 8: Chittorgarh to Udaipur (115 km) – Mewar Cuisine & Udaipur Drop
Motor to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Taste the distinct tastes of Mewar: aloo-methi, papad sabzi, jangli maas, and lakeside meals. Explore local markets, spices and handmade snacks. Visit City Palace, Pichola Lake and local markets. Once you are satisfied with the Udaipur flavor, have one last drink in the airport or train station.
