Detailed Rann of Kutch Tour Package Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Bhuj.
Enter Ahmedabad and begin your journey to Bhuj, the cultural center of Kutch. Upon arrival at Bhuj, have dinner and rest in your hotel since the journey was long.
Visit the two old palaces of Prag Mahal and evening of Aina Mahal that displays royal history and fine art. Visit Kutch Museum later to know about local tribes, textile and history. Have a local dinner of Kutch and spend the night in Bhuj.
Day 2: Bhuj – Banni Villages.
Following the breakfast, visit the Banni grassland region that is characterized by villages and crafts. Take a trip to villages like Hodka and Dhordo where you can find artisans who are working on embroidery, leather work and weaving.
Interview the locals to get to know about their life, their practices and art. Early evening go to your hotel and watch folk music and dances. Spend the night with the Banni region.
Day 3: Banni Region – White Rann of Kutch.
This is the day of visiting the great White Rann of Kutch. Breakfast and then go to the salt desert. Cross the broad white ground Which seems limitless and shifts with the light.
Take pictures and have fun in the peaceful environment. When the sun sets on the salt flats, it is an ideal time of the tour. Afterwards watch a cultural show where it is performed in the traditional Kutchi style. Spend the night in a tent city or a resort near the White Rann.
Day 4: White Rann – Kala Dungar – Lakhpat.
Breakfast at Kala Dungar, the highest point of Kutch, and get a big picture of the Great Rann. Visit Dattatreya Temple and introduce yourself to feed animals of the locality.
Go on to Lakhpat, an ancient town bordering the India-Pakistan border. Visit Lakhpat Fort and Gurudwara Sahib, demonstrating the spiritual and historic worth of the area. Come back to your hotel in the evening and rest. Spend the night in the White Rann or Bhuj.
Day 5: Bhuj – Mandvi.
Breakfast and tour to Mandvi, a sea-port, where the beach and ship-building are popular. See Vijay Vilas Palace a large structure with gardens facing the sea.
Spend the rest of the day later in Mandvi Beach relaxing on the Arabian Sea. You may go on camel rides in the shore or you can simply have fun in the beach. Stay overnight in Mandvi.
Day 6: Mandvi – Bhuj.
Post breakfast visit any other site. Visit local markets to purchase embroidered cloths, crafts and other souvenirs that are unique to Kutch. Take a stroll in the city during the afternoon or go to the temples nearby. You may plan your evening as you wish or sleep. Stay overnight in Bhuj.
Day 7: Bhuj – Ahmedabad.
Breakfast and resume drive to Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, take a hotel and rest in the evening. One can go to Sabarmati Riverfront or take a stroll in the city to have local Gujarati food. Stay overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 8: Ahmedabad – Departure.
