The train began on 11 January 2009 and made its first journey. With aesthetic design and modern facilities, it covers most of the heritage destinations like Agra, Khajuraho, and Varanasi with royal destinations of Rajasthan.
Coaches:
Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has 13 deluxe and one super deluxe coach with well-designed interiors. The coaches have facilities like air conditioning, electronic safe, channel music, and Wi-Fi internet access, and attached bathrooms.

- Spacious royal suite with fine wooden furniture
- Two differently themed restro bars – Sheesh Mahal and Swarn Mahal, offering Rajasthani, Continental, and Chinese.

Cancellation, Confirmation & Refund Policies
- 25% of the total booking amount is required in advance to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining 75% must be paid upon arrival or as mutually agreed.
- We accept UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, and Cash.
- A booking confirmation voucher will be shared via WhatsApp/email within 48 hours of advance payment.
- If your selected vehicle/type is unavailable, we will arrange an alternative option of equal or better value.
- In case of unavailability of the vehicle, a 100% refund of the advance amount will be issued.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original mode of payment.
- Partial refunds may apply based on vehicle usage, time, or last-minute cancellations.
- 45 days before travel no cancellation will be charged.
- 30–45 days before travel: 20% cancellation charge or you can use in future booking similar or morethen current value amount
- 7–30 days before travel: 40% cancellation charge.
- 0–7 days before travel or no-show: 100% of the booking amount will be charged.
- In case of force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions), alternate arrangements will be offered. No cash refund in such cases.
